I'm interested in listening to, playing and writing several styles of music. My Last.fm widget on the right provides some insight as to what I'm hearing right now.
Chart Invasion
In October 2008, I conceived a competition amongst friends for experimenting as to how easy it is to go from complete amateur to writing, playing, recording, producing and releasing a song single. The progress of this competition is documented on the Chart Invasion website.
During the course of this competition, I have set myself up as a record label, Avenger Penguin Music and a band Kalypso 53.
Traditional Music
As a bodhran player, I'm interested in traditional music sessions and am also working on some recordings with Mandolin George.
